Menu dedicated to celiacs and food intolerances

Celiac disease is one of the most common food intolerances in the world, and we at Ristorante Merano understand how much it can impact your life.

At our restaurant, you can find a variety of gluten-free options from breakfast to dinner, so you can enjoy your holiday without sacrificing the simple pleasures of the palate. It’s important to know that since we prepare everything in the same kitchen, we can’t rule out cross-contamination, but we prepare our dishes with the utmost care!

For breakfast, you’ll find a variety of gluten-free pastries, biscuits, and rusks. While we don’t keep fresh bread, you’re welcome to bring your own!

For lunch and dinner we offer a variety of gluten-free appetizers. We prepare all our first pasta dishes with gluten-free pasta too, except for lasagna. Most main courses can be modified to offer a gluten-free option; just let us know and we’ll make the necessary changes – except for fried foods! The same goes for pizzas; with gluten-free dough, we can offer you a truly extensive selection!

Should you have other intolerances, like lactose intolerance, or you simply have a vegan or vegetarian diet, no problem, we are happy to offer you amazing italian dishes with all criteria!

Furthermore, if your children require special foods, or just their,  baby food to be prepared, we are happy to do our best – so you stay relaxed!
